To serve as a moored navigational aid and maritime utility under the Maritime Autonomy & Navigational Habitation Act (MANHA).
Legal Notice: This unit is categorized as a Private Aid to Navigation (PATON). Under 33 CFR Part 66, the U.S. Coast Guard maintains primary jurisdiction over its placement and maintenance. As a navigational aid, this unit is exempt from local land-based property assessments and residential zoning, provided it does not obstruct commercial traffic.
